Echeveria 'Prism' is a rare hybrid succulent ornament belonging to the Echeveria genus in the Crassulaceae family. The ovate-shaped slightly plum and fleshy pinkish cyan foliage form the pretty compact rosette. The dorsal part of the leaf is slightly circularly convex with pinkish ridged lines. It would develop the pinkish hooking-blade apex and reddish leaf margin when exposed to abundant sunlight shining. Orangish mini bell-shaped blossoms would appear on the stalks in late spring and early summer, adding enchanting attractiveness to this succulent plant.
-How to care for Echeveria 'Prism'(6 inch)-
Sun/Location: Echeveria 'Prism's maintenance can be referred to Echeveria Tippy with its extremely confusing appearance and similar growth habits. Echeveria 'Prism' prefers full sun to partial shade to develop its optimal shape and color. It is appropriate to absorb the scattered light for at least 4-6 hours during the growing period in spring and autumn. Echeveria 'Prism' would be over-long and leggy stems without sufficient sunlight. Keep in mind that remove Echeveria 'Prism's indoors to shade in the heatwave and supply artificial light in winter to defend against the severe cold.
Soil/Pot: Echeveria 'Prism' loves to sit in excellent drainage and breathability potting soil, such as blending the 60% to 70% particles soil with peat or more environmentally friendly coconut coir. Volcanic rock, coarse sand loam, iridescent stone, etc, the above are also can be used as the superior medium to the mixture. It is preferable to repot in warm seasons, providing a scrupulously cleaner growing environment and fresh soil for Echeveria 'Prism's growth. The kraurotic leaves is ought to be pruned to stay away from rotting and fungal issues.
Watering: Like most other Echeveria succulents, Echeveria 'Prism' is not complicated to thrive like the drought-tolerant traits. In general, it takes 3 to 10 days for plants to arrive after you place your order. All orders will be shipped out 48 hours after you place them. We ship the orders on work days(from Monday to Saturday) and all year round. In normal conditions, it will take 3-10 days for you to receive the package. Estimated shipping times are offered as needed.
HOLIDAYS: During weeks in which a holiday occurs - Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, etc. - shipping may be delayed until the following week.
EXTREME WEATHER NOTICE: The Next Gardener reserves the right to hold shipments during storms or periods of extreme heat or cold. This is to ensure your plant does not suffer while it is in transit.
Winter shipping
We insist on shipping succulents to our customers all year round. However due to the extreme winter weather, although we pack succulents with as much protective material as possible, plants are still at increased risk of frost on their way to colder areas. We highly recommend adding one 72-hour heat pack to your order or you can request a hold on the package until it warms up.
