Echeveria Colorata x Laui
About Echeveria Colorata x Laui
Echeveria Colorata x Laui, a hybrid of Echeveria Colorata and Echeveria Laui, is a small, attractive succulent plant with tightly compacted, plump, light brown leaves that form a beautiful rose-like rosette. It is easy to grow and branch. And the leaves have chalky farina, which can protect them from sunburn.
How to care for Echeveria Colorata x Laui
Soil/Watering: Using potting soil dedicated to cacti and succulents for beginners is a good choice because this kind of soil already has good air and water permeability. Only water when the soil dries out; never let water sit on the leaves to prevent rot. When planting, you can first mix sufficient slow-release base fertilizer in the soil; except for winter, you can dilute the fertilizer in clean water once every two months and water the potting soil with liquid fertilizer water, which is used as water.
Sun/Temperature: Echeveria Colorata x Laui is dormant or semi-dormant during the hot summer months, growing slowly or stopping growing. At this time, you can place the pot in a well-ventilated position to let it spend the summer safely. At the same time, avoid exposure to the scorching sun, especially direct light around noon, to avoid sunburn leaves. The temperature difference between day and night should be enhanced in spring and autumn, and sufficient sunlight can be given during the day. Cool, dry weather combined with plenty of mild sunlight will make the color of Echeveria Colorata x Laui leaves more prominent and attractive.
Propagation: Leaf can be performed during the growing season. Dry thick and plump complete leaves for 3 to 5 days to let the wound scar, then insert them obliquely or lay them flat in the soil so that their base is tightly integrated with the soil. After spraying water, it is placed in a semi-shaded place to keep the soil semi-moist, and soon roots will grow at the base, and young shoots will grow.
