About Echeveria 'Can Can'

Echeveria 'Can Can' is a stunning plant. It has a rather large rosette arrangement, with the rosettes growing up to 14 inches, and is a medium-sized variety in Echeveria. The primary color of the leaves is white-green with reddish-pink margins; in full sun, the reddish-pink color turns to a deeper purple. The margins are doubly crenulate, and the red edge is fringed and ruffled as a French petticoat.

How to care for Echeveria 'Can Can'

Sun/Location: E.Can Can is relatively easy to cultivate; it can receive full sun without partial shade treatment. In full sun, the red color of its leaf margins will spread. Recommended to let it receive more than 6 hours of light a day. It is suitable to be placed outdoors, by a window, or on the balcony. However, try to avoid frost outdoors in winter; it is best to put it in a sunny place indoors to take care of it.

Soil/Pot: It is recommended to E. Can Can be in well-drained soil? You can try to mix gritty rocks and perlite with regular potting soil to create soil with some degree of drainage. Of course, for convenience and succulent health reasons, you can also purchase our 'Upgraded Organic Succulent and Cactus Soil,' a new soil formula more suitable for echeveria.

Watering: As with most succulents, overwatering is one of the reasons why E. Can Can does not grow healthily. When the soil is dry enough, that's a signal that you should go and water it. Keep the frequency to once or twice a week. Let it live in a pot with drainage holes so the soil can drain quickly to prevent root rot. When winter comes, you need to pay extra attention to the condition of the soil. Usually, you should reduce the watering frequency at this time.

HOLIDAYS: During weeks in which a holiday occurs - Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, etc. - shipping may be delayed until the following week.

Winter shipping

We insist on shipping succulents to our customers all year round. However due to the extreme winter weather, although we pack succulents with as much protective material as possible, plants are still at increased risk of frost on their way to colder areas. We highly recommend adding one 72-hour heat pack to your order or you can request a hold on the package until it warms up.
