Sun: Echeveria Agavoides 'Gazelle' thrives in bright sunlight. Position the Echeveria Agavoides 'Gazelle' in a spot that allows it to receive a minimum of 4-6 hours of direct sunlight daily. However, in regions with intense or scorching sunlight, it is advisable to provide partial shade during the hottest part of the day to prevent sunburn.

Temperature: Echeveria Agavoides 'Gazelle' prefers moderate to warm temperatures. Echeveria Agavoides 'Gazelle' thrives in regions with USDA hardiness zones 9-11. Ideally, the temperature should range between 65-85°F during the day and no lower than 50°F at night. Please protect it from frost as it is not tolerant of freezing temperatures. Putting it indoors is essential.

Soil: Ensure you use a well-draining soil mix specially designed for succulents or cacti. A suitable mixture can be created by combining regular potting soil, coarse sand, and either perlite or pumice. The soil must have good drainage properties, allowing water to flow easily and preventing the roots from sitting in water. Adjust the proportion of particles in the soil mix based on the Echeveria Agavoides 'Gazelle' plant size. When the plant is small, a ratio of approximately 30% particles is sufficient, but as the plant grows, it increases the particle content to around 70%.

Watering: To prevent overwatering, it is important to water Echeveria Agavoides 'Gazelle' sparingly. Make sure to wait for the soil to completely dry before watering again, allowing ample time for thorough drying between each watering cycle. When watering, ensure that you water thoroughly until the excess water drains out of the pot, discarding any leftover water. Adjust the watering frequency based on your specific climate, aiming to water every 1-2 weeks during the active growth season and extending the interval to once every 3-4 weeks during the dormant period. It's crucial to prioritize underwatering rather than overwatering.

Propagation: To propagate Echeveria Agavoides 'Gazelle' using leaves, select a healthy leaf and allow it to callus for a few days. Prepare a well-draining succulent soil mix and plant the calloused end of the leaf partially buried in the soil. Place the potted leaf in a bright location with indirect sunlight, avoiding direct sunlight. Mist the soil lightly to keep it slightly moist, but avoid overwatering. After some time, new plantlets will emerge from the base of the leaf. Once they have developed roots and grown to a suitable size, carefully transplant them into individual pots or a suitable growing location. Patience and proper care are essential for successful propagation.

In general, it takes 3 to 10 days for plants to arrive after you place your order. All orders will be shipped out 48 hours after you place them. We ship the orders on work days(from Monday to Saturday) and all year round. In normal conditions, it will take 3-10 days for you to receive the package. Estimated shipping times are offered as needed.

HOLIDAYS: During weeks in which a holiday occurs - Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, etc. - shipping may be delayed until the following week.

EXTREME WEATHER NOTICE: The Next Gardener reserves the right to hold shipments during storms or periods of extreme heat or cold. This is to ensure your plant does not suffer while it is in transit.

Winter shipping

We insist on shipping succulents to our customers all year round. However due to the extreme winter weather, although we pack succulents with as much protective material as possible, plants are still at increased risk of frost on their way to colder areas. We highly recommend adding one 72-hour heat pack to your order or you can request a hold on the package until it warms up.

Hawaii, Alaska, and Other US Territories

Fortunately, shipping is available to Alaska, Guam, and other U.S. Territories. However, due to numerous factors beyond our control, including customs checks and shipping delays, free shipping to Hawaii and Puerto Rico is not an option. And we can not provide the 14-day quality guarantee for orders going to Hawaii and Puerto Rico. The buyer will assume all risk of damage when a delivery is delayed. We appreciate your understanding.
