Adromischus Cooperi (4 inch)
About Adromischus Cooperi
Adromischus cooperi is a Crassulaceae succulent, originally from South Africa. They are short and compact, with taupe stems. The leaves are shovel-shaped, the upper portion of the leaves is slightly wider and flat, and the top edge has wrinkles on it. It has a glabrous and shiny epidermis, and its leaves have purple-brown spots that are more visible in bright light.
How to care for Adromischus Cooperi
Sun/Location: The succulent prefers full sun and a cool, dry environment. Semi-shade is also acceptable, but too much shade inhibits the growth.
Soil/Pot: Potting soil can be mixed with vermiculite, coarse sand, or perlite. Grass ash and rotten bone meal can further improve the quality of the soil. It should be planted in small and shallow pots, and change the potting soil every 1 to 2 years.
Watering: Adromischus Cooperi grows slower in the summer when it's hot, so water them moderately. A proper watering schedule, once per week should be followed in winter to keep the soil moderately moist. During the growing season, it is vital to water the live succulent when the top layer of the potting soil is dehydrated. Otherwise, the plant is likely to rot.
Gardening uses of Adromischus Cooperi
The leaves of Adromischus Cooperi are peculiar and colorful. It is not large and has a shallow root system, so it can be decorated with cases, desks, etc., which is unique and interesting.
