How to Care for Your Money Tree Kokedama
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. It can adapt to medium light conditions, but its growth will be strongest with consistent, filtered light. Avoid direct afternoon sun, which can scorch its leaves.
Water: Watering is unique and simple. When the moss ball feels light and dry, soak the entire Kokedama in a bowl of room-temperature water for 10-15 minutes. Remove it, allow the excess water to drain completely, and then return it to its display spot. This typically needs to be done every 1-2 weeks, depending on the environment.
Temperature: Prefers comfortable room temperatures between 65°-80°F (18°-27°C). It is sensitive to cold, so protect it from drafts and temperatures below 50°F (10°C).
Fertilizer: Feed lightly to support its growth. During the spring and summer, use a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer diluted to half-strength once a month. You can add this to the soaking water. No fertilizer is needed in fall and winter.
