"Sugar heart" occurs when the center of the succulent rosette develops a highly saturated pink or red hue due to environmental stress, resembling a tempting piece of crystal candy.
It was watered before shipping, so it arrived with fungus, which affected many of the plants' leaves, causing some of them to rot. I don't think they'll survive. It's a shame, because I was eagerly awaiting it.
