-About Echeveria Psyche (6 inch)-
Echeveria Psyche is a popular succulent plant of the genus Echeveria in the family Crassulaceae, shaped in a rosette look. Its leaves are ovate, plump, and smooth. With sunlight and temperature stress, the distinct white lines would evenly distribute on the leaf blade, and the relatively sharp plump leaves are prone to cinnamon reddish.
-How to care for Echeveria Psyche-
Sun/Location: Echeveria Psyche needs partial to full sun to generate good conditions, especially in growing seasons (spring and fall). Locating it in the outdoor greenhouse is ideal to keep this beauty happy and maintain the cinnamon color.
Soil/Repot: Echeveria Psyche loves breathable, loose, well-drained soil to live in. And for a 6-inch E. Psyche or other medium size succulents, adding more gritty rocks or perlite in the soil is essential. While repotting this succulent every spring, mixing some slow-release fertilizer into the fresh succulent soil can promote better growth. Click here to learn why and how to repot succulents.
Watering: Unlike other houseplants, succulents don't require frequent watering all year. Contrarily, only water the potting soil when the bottom leaves start wrinkling and the soil is completely dry. In hot dry summer, E. Psyche goes dormant and stops growing. You can spray a little water around the planter to lower the temperature.
